The Browns’ playoff hopes for this season were dashed after a 17-10 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

Cleveland will also have its second straight losing season under head coach Kevin Stefanski.

“Obviously, you are disappointed with that,” Stefanski, the team’s third-year coach, said after the team was eliminated from this year’s postseason play.

However, Stefanski believes the team is still in position to win against the Washington Commanders, who are still in contention for an NFC playoff spot.

QB Deshaun Watson, who played in his fourth game since serving an 11-game suspension for violating the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy, said the team needs to finish strong.

“We have to go in and come in like we have something to prove,” Watson explained.

On January 1, 2023, the Browns travel to Washington to face the Commanders.
