Courteney Cox posted a hilarious video to Instagram in which she impersonated one of the so-called ‘Gen Z girls.’

Courteney Cox tries to dress like ‘Gen Z girls’ by baring her abs in a crochet crop top and baggy jeans

The 58-year-old actress was seen in the video looking at photos of young women from Generation Z on her phone before getting up and trying to emulate their fashion choices.

The star of Scream 6 styled her jet black hair in bubble braid pigtails, with curled money pieces to frame her face.

The actress from Friends, who recently filmed a hilarious skit with rapper Drake in which he flipped her off, then changed into a crochet crop top with a mock neck and several cutout keyholes above the bust.

She also experimented with eyeliner for the new look, giving her eyes a dramatic smoky effect and giving the inner corners a foxed appearance.

Courteney used Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ Unholy as the soundtrack for her reel, and she captioned it: ‘Am I slaying this right?’

The video opened with the director sitting on a couch and poring over photos of young women from Generation Z who had been given elaborate makeovers.

‘Look at these Gen Z girls, so cute,’ she said. ‘I wanna do that.’

The raven-haired beauty stood up and applied cut-crease eyeshadow, contour, highlighter, and lipliner to mimic the current makeup trend.

She changed into cropped top, jeans, and a dark navy, tie-dyed blue hoodie.

She proceeds to take a series of selfies with her phone while flashing the peace sign and sticking her tongue out.

While she posed, the Alabama native was accompanied by her two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Lily and Bear.

An unidentified man, possibly Courteney’s longtime boyfriend Johnny McDaid, said, “What?” at the end of the clip.

‘Oh s***, he’s home,’ Courteney yelled something, and then she disappeared.

Courteney’s daughter Coco, who she has with actor David Arquette, 51, is 18 years old, and the clip must have made her laugh.

In 1999, Courteney and David tied the knot and stayed together until 2013.

After they broke up, she started dating her longtime boyfriend, singer Johnny McDaid, 46.
