Death from Above mission not counting

Players have reported that the White Lotus Faction mission Death from Above in Call of Duty DMZ has not been counting for months.

COD DMZ Guide – How to fix the Death from Above mission not counting

This mission is for the White Lotus Faction and has been causing issues for players since the game’s inception. On the surface, the mission appears to be extremely simple, as all players need to do is purchase a Precision Airstrike killstreak and then use it to eliminate a certain number of enemies. The main issue that players have with this mission is that when they buy a Precision Airstrike from a Buy Station, the challenge tracker does not count it.

The next part of the challenge, which requires the Precision Airstrike to kill 10 enemies, appears to work fine for the majority of players. However, there are some issues with calculating the total number of kills for each Precision Airstrike.

Since DMZ came out, Infinity Ward has not fixed the Death from Above mission, which is bad news for players. Even worse, it doesn’t look like there will be a solution any time soon. Since the developers haven’t said anything about a possible patch, some players won’t be able to finish Death from Above because their Precision Airstrike purchases don’t count.

According to some players, quitting and retrying matches has helped them, but this is the extent of the problem-solving. With any luck, the issue with the Death from Above mission not counting will be resolved in the upcoming Season 3 update in COD DMZ.
