Update Injury Los Angeles Lakers – Memphis Grizzlies

The Lakers were heavily defeated in game 5, 116-109, thus the action now shifts back to Crypto.com Arena for game 6.

We often forget that the Grizzlies are the second-ranked club in the West, while the Lakers are ranked seventh.

It appears to be wishful thinking, as fans appear to want LeBron James and the Lakers to go on, and, sorry, but they just don’t like the Grizzlies. However, whether you like them or not, you must respect them.

The Lakers didn’t score 100 points on Wednesday, but Anthony Davis showed up, scoring 31 points and grabbing 19 rebounds. James only got 15 points, but he had 10 rebounds and 5 assists.

According to Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times, James (foot) is listed as probable for Game 6 against the Grizzlies on Friday.

James’s probable tags are nothing to be concerned about. Along with James, Anthony Davis (foot) and Dennis Schroder (Achilles) have likely tags.

Davis is expected to play in Game 6 against the Grizzlies on Friday due to a right foot stress injury, according to Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times.

Given that Davis has been labeled as likely in each of the first five games of the series yet has played in all of them, fans can expect Davis to be ready to go on Friday.

Davis has had an up-and-down series, scoring more than 30 points twice while also scoring fewer than 15 points twice. Regardless, he has been a powerful interior force in the Western Conference Quarterfinals, averaging 13.6 rebounds and 4.2 blocks per game.

The Grizzlies faced a must-win situation in game 5 and survived, defeating the Lakers 116-99 at home to trim the Lakers’ lead to 3-2 in the best-of-seven series.

But it was a home game, and the Grizzlies were expected to win. But now the task becomes more difficult because they must travel to Los Angeles to face the Lakers at the Crypto.com Arena.

The Grizzlies showed up on Wednesday, led by the dynamite pair of Ja Morant and Desmond Bane.

Ja Morant had 31 points and 10 rebounds, while Bane had 33 points and 10 rebounds.

Despite a hand injury, Morant finished as one of two Grizzlies players with 30 or more points, a double-double, and three assists shy of a triple-double.

Morant, who led the team in assists and tied for the team lead in rebounding, has at least 30 points, five rebounds, and five assists in two tournament games.
