After getting trapped in her home, Amanda Holden had to use ladders to scaled a wall to reach working at Heart radio in time and had fans laughing as she explained her ordeal.
Currently in Spain, she was planning to do her Heart radio breakfast show from where she was staying when she realized she couldn’t leave.
When Amanda and her colleagues tried to leave the courtyard at dawn, they discovered that the door was locked and that they were stuck.
In an Instagram post, she said: “So this happened… just trying to get to work.”
A video clip showed her in a warm-looking cream coat and comfortable black trousers. “Good morning. I’m trying to get Heart from Spain… but we’re locked inside!” she said.
In pointing at a colleague, she said, “We have just found some ladders in there and we are going to have to… look… ladders, to get over the top of this,” gesturing to a large wall in front of them.
Then, she approached someone who was not visible, joking that she was fluent in Spanish and saying: “Hello? Hello, we are here, we can’t get out of the gate, but we are here… sorry.”
In the next scene, Amanda and her crew were seen climbing over a wall using ladders. The TV beauty smiled and exclaimed, “I’ve made it!” as she stepped down the other side.
A follower told Amanda it was “bloody hilarious” and another said it was “amazingly funny”.
“This has made me laugh so much,” said another delighted fan.
“So funny,” commented another.
“Pure dedication to Heart and hung on to your coffee. Brilliant!” “That shows true commitment!” agreed another commenter.
“Oh my goodness you make me wee from laughter!” said one amused fan.
Earlier this week, Amanda Holden looked chic as she showed off her slim figure in a gray mini dress.
While resting one leg on the table, she accessorized her outfit with a gold bracelet and ring set, and elevated her look with black and white striped heels.
As a finishing touch, Amanda applied a full face of makeup complemented by a wash of brown eyeshadow on her lids and a pinch of blush on her cheeks.
In the caption, the host simply wrote: “Happy Monday everyone”
