A Girl’s Guide to Going Glamping

Let’s face it, camping isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. While it is wonderful to escape into the wilderness and commune with nature, a lot of people aren’t willing to give up their creature comforts. Well, what if you could go camping without having to sacrifice anything? This is where glamping comes in and here is how you can master this:

Get a Larger Tent

Always get a larger tent than you think you will need. For instance, if two people are sharing a tent, go ahead and spring for a four person one. The more people that will be sleeping in the tent, the more room that you will need. Don’t worry, though, as you can find plenty of Woods Canada camping gear and equipment for you to choose from.

It isn’t just the floor dimensions that you should think of, however. Also pay attention to the height. The tallest person in your group should be able to stand up without hunching over for maximum comfort.

In fact, you may want to consider a tent that has different rooms, complete with divisions. This can be great for privacy and will also ensure that you aren’t kept away by errant feet at night.

Make Comfort a Priority

The whole point of glamping is to stay comfortable throughout your trip. One of the easiest ways to do this is to check out the huge variety of sleeping bags, mats and pads that are available to you in stores. There are ones with extra padding or that can keep you warmer more easily.

With certain inflatable options, you will not be able to tell the difference between these and actual beds. They may take some time to set up, but they will certainly be worth the effort. Many of these are also large enough to share, if you want.

Set Up a Living Space

Don’t try to stuff everything in your tent. Instead, set up proper living spaces outside. In particular, you may want to set up a living room area around the campfire. You can also have a hammock that you can snooze in if you want to.

For some additional comfort, have a mini bar as well. This way, everyone can mix their own drinks and you can have a little party every evening. It will be like you never even left civilization.

Make Gourmet Meals

Yes, you can make gourmet meals while camping. Just check for inspiration online, there will be plenty of options for you to choose from. If you pre-prep these meals, you will find that they are even easier to prepare when you are on your trip.

Oh, and don’t forget about desserts. There are some truly decadent treats that can be whipped up over a campfire. It is definitely something that you should give a try – you will not be able to replicate these recipes at home.

As you can see, camping doesn’t have to be uncomfortable or a chore. With a few touches, you can transform any trip into a truly luxurious experience. And you now know just how to manage this!
