Kim, Khloe, & Kourtney Kardashian

The Kardashian sisters launched their makeup line, Khroma Beauty, in 2012. The siblings said it was “a dream come true to have our own makeup line and to share it with women around the world.” They also stated that since makeup has been such a big part of their lives for so long, they thought it was a perfect step for them to extend their business into beauty products to share with their fans. The line was created with “exquisite formulas” meant to provide the same beauty looks that the Kardashians are famous for.

Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham launched her V-Sculpt makeup line in Japan in 2007. The collection, which included lip gloss, lip liner, mascara, eyeliner, and eye shadow. She developed the idea after discovering that some women in the country “are very self-conscious” of having round faces. Beckham claims she came up with the concept of sculpting and aimed to show the customers how to highlight their faces in order to create a V shape.

Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum launched her Very Sexy makeup collection through Victoria’s Secret in 2007. The products were packaged in gold and adorned with Klum’s face and signature. The line included glitter eyeliner, eye shadow palettes, lip gloss, and lipstick. The model insisted the products were just what she needed to achieve a flawless look each day and included personal touches like a chocolate-flavored lip gloss.

   

Alicia Silverstone

Alicia Silverstone teamed up with Juice Beauty to release an eco-friendly makeup line last year. She stated that she would never align herself with or take pride in something she didn’t believe in completely, so she took plenty of time to perfect the organic line. Silverstone focused on the texture, performance, and smell of the products. The collection included cleanser, moisturizer, highlighter, pressed power, and lip color.

Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson launched beauty site BeautyMint in 2011 to provide skincare kits to her fans. Users of the service sign up on the site, take a quiz about their skin type, and are then sent a set of 5 or 6 products each month that are tailored to the skincare regimen they should be following. The products available included cleansers, serums, moisturizers, and resurfacing treatments.

Salma Hayek launched a makeup line called Nuance in 2011. The collection included makeup and skincare products as well as hair care and body care products, including eye shadow palettes, blush, mascara, hydrating balm, and body oil. Hayek claims her grandmother’s homemade beauty recipes inspired her to create the line.
