Some do it as part of their job because they’re expected to always look amazing, while others just like to take good care of themselves. From downing gross egg white mixtures to hardcore workout sessions daily, these celebrities have invested lots of time and effort into making their bodies look amazing and it shows!

Cameron Diaz

Cameron loves keeping her body in shape because it makes her feel good: “Exercise for me is like eating, sleeping, and breathing. I’m consistent, and when I’m not consistent, it shows up on my body. I get really skinny, and I know it might sound like, ‘Well, good for you.’ But the body that people talk about is not me trying to stay slim, it’s the one where I work hard to keep weight on me. Your body definitely does change.”

Miranda Kerr

Lingerie model Miranda spends plenty of time keeping her body perfect for photo shoots – that includes regular exercise and a special diet:”It’s been a lot of yoga and Pilates, and eating healthily. It does take hard work. If you want to have a little indulgence every now and then, then that’s okay. Sometimes I’ll feel like some dark chocolate or sometimes I’ll feel like some French fries.’

Kim Kardashian

Kim likes to feel confident about her appearance so puts in the time at the gym:”If I don’t feel confident about my body, I’m not going to sit at home and feel sorry for myself and not to do something about it. It’s all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it’s fitness or whatever. It’s all about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.”

Hugh Jackman

Hugh has one of the most extreme regimes: “I get up at 4am and eat egg whites, then every three hours after that. I have a combination of protein or steamed vegetables and brown rice. Then after midday, no rice or carbohydrates. It’s just vegetables and meat or fish. I’m not going to live this way for the rest of my life. I do have treats, I love dark chocolate, beer and red wine. I love going out for dinner and do cheat sometimes. I train for an hour and a half a day, five days a week – weights, treadmill, rowing, everything. Then I do what my trainer calls ‘a play session’ on the sixth, which previously would have killed me in itself.”

Cheryl Cole

Cheryl found it hard at the start but now loves to take care of herself: ”I stay fit because I work out a lot. I follow the Tracy Anderson method, which is a mixture of muscle structure exercises and 45 minutes of dance cardio. I think the hardest part of getting fit is getting started. It can be really hard to motivate yourself at the beginning, but now I really love working out and staying in shape.”
