5 Stars Who Are Amateur Photographers

Thanks to their jobs, these 5 stars all regularly get the chance to travel the world and see some amazing and exotic locations, and because they enjoy taking photographs, they are able to take some amazing pictures too. These celebrities love to relax by taking photographs of amazing moments and beautiful things, while others admit that they’d love to turn their photography work into a book or an exhibition if they had the chance to.

Aaron Eckhart

Aaron says he is obsessed with photography and is even considering going professional: “I’m obsessed with it – it’s all I do. That’s really the only thing I think about. Will I turn professional? I will if somebody asks me. Hopefully I’ll do exhibitions and all that sort of stuff. I’m really just a photography geek. I just love to shoot.”

Audrey Tautou

French actress Audrey Tautou takes photographs to remind her of things she has experienced: “I haven’t done anything with the photos yet. I just keep them. But it’s just because I have met so many people for very short moments and all these moments for me disappear into the air. I find it a bit unreal. So I wanted to keep something concrete to make sure I was not wasting my time.”

Penelope Cruz

Penelope Cruz really enjoys photography, but found one experience quite emotional: “When I was in Kathmandu photographing kids who had escaped from Tibet, some who had escaped by walking across the mountains, I photographed their feet. Some had lost toes because of the snow. I have to control myself not to cry. Not out of pity, but seeing how tricky life is and how hard it is to make the right choices.”

Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore would like to have a book of all of her work:  “I’d like to work on my book of photography. I’ve been taking photos for like 10 years so that’s a goal for this year. Even if I just start it… Everything is just a mess and I need to archive it all. So I’d like to focus on my photography.”

Dianna Agron

Dianna loves to capture special moments and would consider showing off her photos in an exhibition for charity: “I think there’s something so wonderful about capturing a moment whether it’s a sunset or sunrise, or the river or a new place. I would love to have a photo exhibition and have it be for a charity event. Photography stimulates me even more than acting because you’re still being artistic but finding different ways to showcase it.”
