5 Celebrities Who Struggle With Trust Issues

Saying they find it hard to let people in to their lives, these 5 celebrities all admit to having big trust issues. Be it about the friendships or relationships they form, these stars naturally feel afraid to trust people, especially because of their fame and they know they are vulnerable if they let people in. These 5 stars have all candidly commented on why they have trust issues and how careful they are when it comes to trusting.

Demi Lovato

Demi is always careful of who she trusts: “Just be careful who you trust. Sometimes you don’t know who you can and cannot trust. I still learn that over and over again.”

Eminem has trust issues with everyone in his life: “I have trust issues – with women, friends, whatever. I’ve got a small circle of friends, and it’s a lot of the same friends I’ve known forever. Right now, that works for me. I came out of some difficult things these past couple of years. I kind of feel like I’m just now finding my footing, so I want to make sure that’s secure before I go out and do anything else. I need to keep working on myself for a while. And the rapper admits it will be a while before he hits the dating scene again – because he can’t enjoy simple meetings with women. As far as going out, like dinner and a movie – I just can’t. Going out in public is just too crazy. I mean, I’d like to be in a relationship again someday. Who doesn’t? It’s just hard to meet people, in my position.”

Justin Bieber

Justin won’t let many people in: “I don’t really let anyone in my circle. I don’t really trust a lot of people, which is sad. But I kind of keep the people I grew up with close to me.”

Mariah Carey

Mariah doesn’t trust many people: “I can be thought of as a control freak. Trust is always an issue for me. It’s never been easy for me to trust anybody, and that’s kind of a sad thing to say, but it’s true.”

Mila Kunis

Mila admits she is a guarded person: ”I’m trying to be less guarded and more open. I find it hard to trust people. There’s a side to me that’s very cautious and suspicious. But I’m gradually feeling a little more secure about who I am and enjoying everything that’s been happening to me. I’m trying to have more fun in life. I’m much more conservative than people think – I mean, I don’t send out naked photos of myself or climb out of limos without any knickers on!”
