Demi Lovato

Demi has had a tough few years but has learned to take time to meditate which she feels helps her work through her problems: ”I make time for myself and meditate. I’ve spent the past two years getting over an eating disorder and issues like self-harming and bipolar disorder. I have to work on this stuff every day. I’m reminded of that whenever I eat or feel down.’

Jeff Bridges

Jeff tries to find the time to meditate twice daily and feels it enhances his life generally: “I meditated yesterday morning. I skipped today because I got up late, but it’s very effective for me. It’s good to block out external stimulus for a set amount of time, because, for one thing, it enhances the experience when you are stimulated by something. It brings dynamics to your life.”

Kimberly Wyatt

Kimberly sets aside two hours daily to reflect and meditate, setting the mood with some essential oils:”I meditate for around two hours every day. I put a lovely prayer shawl I got from Bali around my shoulders and sit on the bed with my essential oils – especially white angelica – and angel cards, which I look at for inspiration.”

Russell Brand

Russell is a big yoga fan and also believes meditation helps him tap into the world around him: ”I’m in tune with some really beautiful things. I don’t want to sound like a lunatic but if you meditate and do yoga you become attuned to a different energy that is constant and very, very beautiful. Some people call it God, some people call it karma or the cosmos but I call it sexual charisma.”

Stacy Kiebler

Stacy tries to eat well and look after her body and she believes meditation is part of finding a good balance within:”I’m a big believer in maintaining a balance between body, mind and spirit. Take some time to meditate and restore your mind, even if it’s just five minutes a day. It’s so good for your overall being! You are what you eat. This is a major rule I live by and it’s true. I’ve learned a lot experimenting with food and different cleanses.”
