Clearly with a great sense of humor and always looking to have fun, these celebs are out to catch people out and surprise them when it’s the last thing on their minds – here is a look at who is always at it and what stunts they’ve pulled!

Channing Tatum

Channing leaves funny notes around the house in unexpected places for his wife to find: “I see caring for somebody as a creative outlet. I like drawing little faces and writing little stories and hiding them in places. I’m a practical joker. My favourite one is putting one under the toilet seat. She always wakes up before I do, so I enjoy the surprise of, ‘Haha! I got you!’ “

Thandie Newton

Thandie loved to play jokes on costar Simon Pegg during the ‘Run, Fat Boy, Run’ filming: “I put Cellophane (thin plastic wrap) over the loo (toilet). I got a king-sized Mars bar (chocolate bar), squished it into a turd (poo) shape, left it in the loo in his trailer, and then got a pair of Y-fronts and rubbed Marmite skid marks and left that on the floor, so it looked like he’d done his business and left. And I sewed up the neck and cuffs of his T-shirts…”

Russell Crowe

Russell used to pull a particularly gross prank on Leonardo DiCaprio while he was busy getting ready on set: “I’d wait until he was sitting in the make-up chair and I’d walk past him and go, ‘Achew!’ and squirt my atomizer, so little bits of fine mist would form on his face and he’d obviously assume it was mucus.”

Johnny Depp

Johnny once pulled a prank on costar Kate Winslet during the filming of a very serious scene: “There was one scene where we were having dinner together. It was a difficult scene and that’s when Johnny did one of the most triumphant things I have ever seen an actor do – he had a fart machine under the table. The first take was priceless and nobody wanted to speak. But then it happened again and we were bursting. That was the thing that made the scene work. That was down to Johnny.”

George Clooney

George has a huge reputation as a prankster and especially loves using farts in his jokes because he thinks it’s so funny: “It’s one of the funniest things in the history of mankind.Even the idea of a fart makes me laugh. Saying the word ‘fart’ makes me laugh. I have iFart on my phone. I have remote whoopee cushions. Farts. To me, there’s nothing funnier”.
