Ranging in sizes and shapes, these 5 stars don’t care about being completely model thin, and are more than happy with the curves they have. Kim Kardashian is one such celeb who is known for celebrating her figure and it has also helped her career by created a sexy body image that is also healthy – these days she says she wouldn’t get rid of her curves even if she could. Here is what 5 body-aware celebrities have to say about celebrating their curves, no matter what size they are.

Cheryl Cole

Cheryl says she recently noticed some new curves and feels sexier: “The curves are back, well and truly. I’ve got my boobs and bum back and, yeah, I like it. I think it’s sexy. When I’m really thin is normally when I am working non-stop. I don’t put any emphasis on thinking, ‘Oh, I’m thin at the moment.’ Right now I’ve got my curves back because I’ve had time off, I’m at home cooking, I’m more relaxed. I’m not defined by being 7lbs heavier than I was two months ago – I think it is really unhealthy to go there.”

Leona Lewis

Leona would never drop weight for her career and says she is proud of her natural curves: “I wouldn’t lose weight for my career. And I wouldn’t have surgery either. I’m happy in my own skin. You have to be healthy and I’m proud of my curves. If I even tried to be a size zero I’d probably be dead. I’m too tall to be a stick-thin girl.”

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian says she wouldn’t get rid of her curves even if she could because they are an important part of her look: “Slimming down gave me confidence and I’m much happier with my body now. Being thinner makes me feel better about myself, but my curves are still here which I love. I’d never get rid of them even if I could.”

Katy Perry

Katy used to hate her naturally curvacious body when she was younger but now she knows it’s powerful: “When I was a kid… I had enormous boobs that I didn’t know what to do with. I wore minimisers, which were not cute. Those thick-a** straps! I got made fun of for the over-the-shoulder boulder holder… All I wanted was to look like Kate Moss. Little did I know… that these things would come in handy someday.”

Christina Hendricks

Christina has often been told to slim down but she never worries about her weight and finds her curves sexy and womanly: “I love my body as it is. People in the industry have been telling me to lose weight for years but I like the way I look. I give credit for my mother for helping me feel good about my appearance – for making sure I never felt embarrassed about my body, because she was never worried about looking too big.  I started out as a model and when I went to Italy to build my book I gained 15 pounds from all the pastas and cappuccinos. I saw my body change and I loved how it changed my appearance and how it made me look more womanly and sexy.”
