‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star Kylie Jenner is known for dramatically altering her hair and experimenting with very different new colours and styles. The reality star believes she is now “addicted” to constantly changing her hair and loves how a new hairstyle can make her feel like a new person. She explained:

”I first dyed my hair when I was 16. I dyed it blue and I never even asked my mom. After that, I’ve just had this addiction to changing my hair. It makes me feel like a new person. I love feeling different and I love leaving the house knowing that nobody has ever seen me this way.”

She adds that she does often opt for wigs instead of changing her natural hair to prevent it from being damaged. She works with a talented wig creator who helps her make her hair ideas a reality and thinks using wigs for dramatic hair alterations is a better idea:

”Because I change my hair so much, it’s become damaged. I’ve had to find ways to really try and take care of it and give it a rest. I discovered this amazing wig guy, Tokyo, and together we create wigs. Wigs are just SO much easier because I change my mind so much and this way I’m not damaging my hair.”

She doesn’t like to repeat her old hairdos and even finds it hard to just go natural now because it feels like revisiting her past:

“It’s hard for me to go back to styles I’ve worn before; I don’t always like my normal short, black hair. That look makes me feel like I’m going back in time. It’s like I’m going back to that moment a year ago and I just don’t want be in that space.”
