Celebrities know how to travel in style and comfort – from face masks to on the move gym tips, these stars know how to ward off jetlag and step off a flight looking better than when they boarded. Here are some of the secrets and tips they’ve shared for jet-setting travel.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth hits the sauna after a long flight: “I drink tons of water, and I have a vitamin sachet that I put in it. Also, I moisturize my skin and put on a mask. I try not to eat rubbish either. I’ll pack salad and fruit. If I’m going on an overnight flight, I’ll drink whiskey or a glass of wine and then go to sleep, but on day flights, I try not to drink. When I land, I try to find a sauna to sit in for 20 minutes to help me sweat out all the germs from the plane.”

Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer hits the gym when she gets off the plane to beat jetlag: “Water, water, water, on an airplane. If there is a drink happening, it’s usually a Bloody Mary, which I don’t ever order [except] when I’m on an airplane. When you land after a long, long flight, go hit the gym and do a 30-minute run. It has worked for me—when I’ve actually had the energy to go and do it!”

Karlie Kloss

Karlie brings some portable workout equipment with her so she can stay in shape on the move: “I travel quite a bit and spend a lot of time staying in hotels in different cities. It’s hard to find gyms and workout studios when you’re away from home and on the move. My solution is to travel with a couple of weights and resistance bands and do a quick 20-minute workout in my hotel room. The Nike Training Club app is also great and helps focus my workouts.”

Kristen Bell

Kristen takes water with her and always has her makeup organised: “I take along Borba water, especially in handy travel packs. I Ziploc-bag all of my makeup. I pack Jane Iredale mineral powder, Shu Uemura’s eyelash curler, Benefit’s Benetint cheek stain, Vincent Longo Liquid Lipstick, Lipfusion Color Shine in Sweet, and Clinique Naturally Glossy mascara.”

Leighton Meester

Leighton recommends spending extra on a first class ticket and believes it makes a big difference to your comfort levels: “My guilty pleasure is flying first class. I wear ear plugs, an eye mask and sleep the entire time.”
