Believing one of the reasons why they look good for their age is because of genetics, these 5 celebrities have all commented that they think they’re ageing well because of the good genes in their families. Praising their mother or father for passing along the ability to remain looking young, these 5 celebs think their parents have a lot to do with how they look now.
Eva thinks her genes and her skin keep her looking young: ”I’m lucky to have good genetics and great olive skin, so the [ageing] process is not taking its toll on me – yet! That’s not to say I won’t have thoughts on it when it happens, but it’s not on the forefront right now.”
Jennifer reveals that her entire family has aged slowly: “My dad is 100 percent Greek; he turned 81 and he barely has a wrinkle. And neither did my grandmother, who was 95 when she died,” she said. “But it’s also just water, drinking a lot of water, using really nice good products for your face. Don’t overproduce, that’s the other thing. Getting proper sleep is always important.”
Julia works out but also thinks good genes keep her fit: “I have been working out, but listen, it is 97 percent genetics. Don’t let anybody tell you any crap about anything else, because that’s what it is – 97 percent genetics and three percent just get your ass moving. Because I’ve never met a cookie I didn’t like.”
Naomi believes she inherited her mother’s good genes: “I’ve got my mum and her good genes! I don’t worry about my age, on the contrary, I like telling people I’m 40. When you worry too much, you will show these worries. I try to avoid that. I eat healthily, I don’t drink – not as a matter of principle, but because it’s not good for me.”
Natalie looks after herself but also thinks good genes play a part: ”I’m blessed with good genes, my mother is beautiful. I work out and for the most part eat healthy. Then I get on with life, and eat crisps. I think it’s just balance. I drink a lot of water. And I don’t work too hard.”
