5 Celebrities Who Have Anger Issues

Finding it hard to control their temper, these 5 celebrities all admit they sometimes have anger issues and violent outbursts. Some say their period of anger is now in the past and they feel more peaceful, while others admit they still struggle to stay calm when they are angered and still have to deal with the problem all of the time.  Here are their own personal stories about controlling their inner-rage.

Hugh Jackman

Hugh was angry during his teen years: “I had some very dark periods as a child. I wanted Mum to come back. I desperately wanted to be normal. I got very mad and would take it out on the football field. High school was very tough – I was bullied and probably did some bullying myself. I think there was a lot of pent-up anger and as a boy you have to let that out. I used to go to a place in Sydney and jump off an 80 foot cliff into the water. We’d also go roof-riding – a group of us would wind down the front windows, lie on top of the car and hold on. It was ridiculously dangerous, but I just thought it was normal fun.”

Mark Ruffalo

Mark struggled with anger early on in his career: “When I was a young actor, if you came to my apartment, you would have seen pictures and photos hung in the most bizarre places, where they were covering holes in the wall from auditions that I didn’t get or slights that I felt I had suffered, where things were thrown, cups were thrown at the walls. I’m no stranger to that kind of anger and rage.”

Megan Fox

When Megan is angry, she has to tell her husband to leave the room: “My temper is ridiculously bad. I’ve had to say to Brian, ‘You have to go and stop talking to me, because I’m going to kill you. I’m going to stab you with something, please leave.’ I’d never own a gun for that reason. I wouldn’t shoot to kill. But I would shoot him in the leg, for sure.”

Michael Buble

Michael used to be violent when he was younger: “I think I’m a kind, generous, gentle soul who’s an egotistical, hard f**king a**hole… I was prone to violence as a kid, and I’ll tell you now, I’m not a big man – I’m about 5 foot 10 inches and weigh about 160 pounds – but I could do it again, and probably will. And shouldn’t and have every reason not to and everything to lose – but probably will do it again. I just don’t have a filter. I just don’t. It makes me angry to even think about diverting myself from something that I need to say.”

Naomi Campbell

Naomi has had to learn how to manage her anger: “I made anger management serious! Anger is an emotion. There were things I had to deal with. You have to deal with it. I’m crying, you made me cry. Every day is a new day – I’m no perfect human being. I’m just living and I’m just breathing.”
