Zach Galifianakis (Alan from The Hangover) is reported to be in talks to star in the re-make of the animated/live-action 1964 movie The Incredible Mr. Limpet. The original starred Don Knotts as a man from Brooklyn who turned into a fish to fight the Nazis. I…have no idea how that worked, exactly, but a plot like that is destined to be a 4/20 cult classic.

In the original, Mr. Limpet had a wife who provided all sorts of “I’m married to a fish!” humor, but it seems like the re-make will feature a romantic sub-plot for Galifianakis’ bachelor Mr. Limpet. Probably…Megan Fox. Because her personality will just shine through.

Here’s the original trailer, which is nearly as long as the actual movie. It makes no sense whatsoever:

My favorite part is: “The most incredibly delightful movie about a man who turns into a fish…that you’ll see this year.” Also known as “The most incredibly, delightfully high I’ve been since that time I tried to mummify the cat with string cheese and Funfetti frosting.”
