[Occasionally, every so often, I am ashamed at the depths to which my punnery will sink. But not this time, because that was awesome, as usual.] Courtney Love’s latest attempt at remaining relevant (that doesn’t include cracked-out ramblings on the Internet) is a cover of Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance.” I guess we should just be glad she didn’t try to perform it in an outfit made of meat, because knowing C.Love, she would have forgone steaks in favor of paper-thin lunch meat and we’d all be treated to the sight of her roast beef curtains. (Oh, ew, I just grossed myself out. Excuse me a mo’ while I discreetly throw up into this ficus.)

While I’m recovering from my nausea, treat yourself to the first 10 seconds of Courtney’s cover before the blood leaking from your brain fills your ears with the soothing sound of the ocean:

And now un-scab your sound-holes because I am going to treat you to an experience that cuts across age, ethnicity, language, religion, et cetera: an adorable boy with a guitar covering a pop song. Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s infinitely superior (and, if you speak French, naughtier!) version of “Bad Romance”:
