Irish actor Michael Fassbender has shared a little too much information that we probably didn’t need to know, but if anyone can get away with oversharing some intimate details, it’s him. According to Michael, he is “representing the gingers” because although he doesn’t have much red hair on his head, he does have plenty elsewhere:

Juicy. He also says there is some redness in his facial hair, explaining that he believes it’s the German part of his heritage more than the Irish part that is responsible for it:
“I have a lot of ginger in my beard, weirdly, it’s probably from my dad and the German side of the family more than anything else.”
Michael reveals that he used to be very musical which was encouraged by his family, and during his teenage years he really loved metal music and it never even dawned on him that he’d like to become an actor at that stage:
“My family were very encouraging that way. My sister and I always played music. Every so often I want to pick up the tin whistle again. I wish I had kept it up a bit better. Slayer. Metallica. Megadeth. I was far more interested in those guys than I was in movies. All I wanted to do was play heavy metal.”
