The Oscars which took place last night, revealed The Hurt Locker as this year’s Academy favourite, awarding the film 6 awards, including an award for best film – which they trumped Avatar to win. There was not many surprises on the night, as many of the favourites for the awards did in fact win. Sandra Bullock took home Best Actress for her acting in The Blind Side, she had been favourite to win the award since the nominees had been announced.
