Nicki Minaj to Release Music as Gay Male Alter-Ego ‘Roman Zolanski’

Obviously these days, you can’t be taken seriously as a recording artist unless you have a rather ostentatious alter-ego to transform into every now and then. Lady Gaga becomes an obnoxious, sexist Italian man, and now Nicki Minaj has revealed her plans to release music as ‘Roman Zolanski’ – her gay male alter-ego. I know what your thinking, but no, Roman Zolanski was like, totally in existence way before Roman Polanski, so forget that comparison – Minaj is definitely 100% full of originality.

Anyway, Minaj took to the blog to speak about the idea:

“Roman will be in rare form this time. you know why? cuz he no longer gives a f**k. he realized that his core matters the most. everyone else will figure it the fuck out. he can no longer be censored. that’s not lewinsky on a$$. its roman. he has 2 more weeks in boarding school. we’re going to pick him up now. when he lands, he will address the nation in the form of music. he will also announce the date. *salutes the nation* love u always. (sic)”

We have already been introduced to Roman in the song ‘Roman’s Revenge’, which is the first track of her debut album ‘Pink Friday’, a song that was co-written by Eminem.
