Nicki Minaj has had her first taste of reality now that she’s the latest ‘American Idol’ judge and it’s possible that she’s thirsty for more. According to a recent interview with Minaj, she’s working on a project that she can’t talk about yet. She says that it was initially something she never dreamed of, but now she’s considering it. She says:
‘That I’m going to keep a secret for now, I thought I’d never do something like that, not saying I am still. I’m still considering.’
Nicki explains that a reality show might be an ideal way to let people in on her real life so people can understand her personality and don’t have to just know her as the artist anymore – she’s interested in showing her real side and isn’t afraid to show it now:
‘If you only have such one-dimensional things to go off of like rumors, then you kind of never get to know the artist. When you pull them in your world, they see you as a real person. I’m not running away from it anymore.’
Speaking on her new gig with American Idol, Nicki says it’s a milestone not just for her, but for others too, and she is really proud of the job:
‘It’s a milestone for me; it’s a milestone for hip-hop; it’s a milestone for young black women’, she said and expressed her pride at getting involved with the program.”
