New Chun-Li figure from Street Fighter looks like she’s thinking

Good Smile Company is working on another Street Fighter Chun-Li figure, and this time she appears to be deep in thought.

New Chun-Li figure from Street Fighter looks like she’s thinking

At WonHobby 36, an unpainted prototype was discovered. It shows her wearing her standard qipao, as she does in many of the series’ entries. She’s perched on the edge of a hunk of wreckage. Here’s a closer look at this Chun-Li Street Fighter figure.

This is not a surprising announcement or reveal. The Good Smile Company has worked on several Street Fighter figures. This includes a large number of Chun-Li. There is a Pop Up Parade figure of her in this exact outfit, for example. Pre-orders for a Nendoroid of the character have also recently opened. It included pieces that would allow people to imitate some of her most famous attacks.

Chun-Li will next appear in Street Fighter 6. It will be released on June 2, 2023 for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and PC. There is currently no release date for this new figure.

About Street Fighter

Street Fighter, also known as Suto in Japan, is a media franchise centered on a series of fighting video and arcade games developed and published by Capcom. The first game in the series was released in 1987, and it was followed by six other games in the main series, numerous spin-offs and crossovers, and numerous appearances in other media. Street Fighter II, its best-selling 1991 release, established many of the conventions of the one-on-one fighting genre.
