This challenge tests your knowledge of Nico’s randomisation features, with various random attack and random buff cards. It assigns you five cards to begin with and four enemies to defeat.

  1. Begin by redrawing Blood Magic to obtain Double Up.
  2. Use Double up to get a copy of Witchfire.
  3. Use Double Up once more to get a copy of Witchstorm.
  4. Redraw Empower to get Blood Magic.
  5. Play Blood Magic to gain Strength.
  6. Use Witchstorm to damage the enemy on the far left and the one next to them
  7. Use the other Witchstorm to damage the enemy on the far right and the one next to them.
  8. Use Witchfire to kill two enemies at random.
  9. Use another Witchfire to eliminate the last two enemies.
  10. Finally, play Crack the Sky and destroy the Black Crystal to complete the challenge.

How do havens work in Marvel’s Midnight Suns?

As you walk around the Abbey, you may notice blue energy circles on the ground. When interacting with a hero at these locations, players can increase their friendship with them by exchanging gifts with them and selecting dialogue options that take into account their interests. Gifts obtained through the gift shop can result in increased friendship XP if they are particularly difficult to obtain.

Havens work in the same way as the standard hangouts that players can start throughout the game, except that havens provide significantly more XP and rewards. If you play your cards right, you can increase a hero’s friendship XP by an entire level with just one haven interaction.

Finally, havens in Marvel’s Midnight Suns are only available once. You can only take one hero to hang out with you in a specific haven, and once you use that haven, you cannot use it again for the rest of your playthrough.
