Lost Will End in 2010

A lot of Lost fans have been wondering when the show will come to an end. As much as we love it, I think MOST of us would rather see it wrap up sooner rather than later, partly because shows like this can easily become too complicated, and partly because we just want to know what the heck is going on. For a long time it was rumored that the show would last five seasons (one season longer than the writers originally intended it to be).

Now the network has announced that Lost will spend three more seasons on the air and will bow out in 2010. But the next three seasons will be short ones, with 16 episodes airing non stop from February to May.

Um, bad idea. TERRIBLE idea. Can I vent a little bit, please?

Lets see, you tookthe show of for 4 months and lost visitors, then you pushed the show back to 10pm and lost even more visitors. Obviously, any time any change is made to this show the ratings take a nose dive, so what on EARTH makes the network execs think people will be at all interested in this show if it takes an EIGHT MONTH break and comes back with half a season? Seriously, this is straight up ridiculous and it’s like they’re doing everything they can to ruin such a good thing.

The writers/producers are standing behind the network decision but I don’t think this is what they want. Sadly enough EOnline said it would end in 2 seasons about a week ago. Please, ABC, do the right thing and go with two more seasons and a movie as planned!
