Final injury reports Charlotte Hornets – Minnesota Timberwolves

Hornets vs. Timberwolves

The Minnesota Timberwolves are attempting to win their sixth game in a row. This season, Minnesota has been a streaky team. They had lost five of their previous six games prior to the winning streak.

Anthony Edwards keeps shining. The 21-year-old shooting guard has scored at least 20 points in three of his last four games, including 19 on Wednesday. Edwards has a 21.9 PPG and a 5.9 RPG average.

Due to a right shoulder subluxation, Taurean Prince will miss Friday’s game against the Hornets.

Jordan McLaughlin (calf) will not play against the Hornets on Friday.

Meanwhile, because of back spasms, Kyle Anderson is questionable to play against the Hornets on Friday.

The Charlotte Hornets are optimistic about this game. They ended a three-game losing streak with a convincing 107-101 home win over the 76ers on Wednesday, covering the four-point spread.

Charlotte is having a terrible season, thanks in part to key injuries. They’ve only won two of their last 13 games. In one of their last three home games, the Hornets have covered the spread.

LaMelo Ball (ankle) will miss the Timberwolves’ game on Friday.

Ball is still recovering from an ankle injury that occurred late in his third appearance for Charlotte this season.

With Ball and Dennis Smith (ankle) out for the foreseeable future, Terry Rozier, Theo Maledon, and James Bouknight are among the candidates for additional playing time at point guard.

Terry Rozier broke out of a slump on Wednesday, scoring 22 points on 50% shooting. The 28-year-old shooting guard has shot 41% or less in three of his last four games and is now averaging 20.4 PPG and 5.4 APG.

Dennis Smith (ankle) will not play against the Timberwolves on Friday.

Gordon Hayward is doubtful for Friday’s game against the Timberwolves due to a left shoulder contusion.
