Kate Middleton, who is set to marry Prince William next April was reportedly a shy young girl (aww right?). A former classmate has revealed that she used to be quiet and didn’t have much confidence:

“She wasn’t really confident, the poor girl, we felt sorry for her.”

People report that those close to Kate are sure she will cope under the pressure of the royal wedding – even if the whole world is set to tune in for the memorable occasion. Insiders say she is a source of calm:

“While she’s not the sort of person who bursts through the door and grabs people’s attention, she very much has presence, she draws attention to herself in a very unobtrusive way.”

Although Kate has been thrown into the spotlight, she is reportedly doing well:

“There’s no charm school for princesses, it’s sink or swim.”
