Kate Beckinsale has spoken on filming her sex scene with Colin Farrel for the remake of Total Recall. Kate said that Colin had to awkwardly fondle her, while saying the scene was worse for Colin to film:
“I think it was worse for Colin. It’s awkward if you have to fondle the director’s wife. Especially with Len saying, ‘all right that’s it, you’re fired.’”
Speaking on Robert De Niro, Kate says she was nervous to meet the legendary actor at first because she had a poster of him when she was in college:
“I liked him a lot. I was a bit nervous as I had a picture of him on my fridge when I was at college. It can make you shifty when you work with people you’ve had posters of.”
Kate describes Mark Wahlberg as “manly” and says he is the kind of guy who sorts things out:
“He’s very manly. And if someone squeezes your boobs at a Katy Perry concert – which is what happened to me in Toronto – I did wish Mark was there because he would have sorted it out.”
Kate says Hugh Jackman’s nice guy reputation is really true:
“His reputation is as the nicest person in show business and it’s sort of true. And he’s not shy of skipping and stuff. He knows a lot of show tunes.”
