Is Luka Doncic, Cory Joseph JOINING today’ game? Injury Reports Mavericks – Pistons

On Monday night, the Detroit Pistons play the Dallas Mavericks in a game between two different conferences. In the first game, Detroit won on the road by a score of 131-125 after overtime.

Injury Updates for Mavericks vs. Pistons game

Following a short two-game road trip, the Dallas Mavericks have returned home. Dallas beat the Suns 95-90 in the series opener but fell short against the Jazz 108-100 on the road on Saturday.

Luka Doncic Sun, Jan 29 Ankle
Game Time Decision
Christian Wood Thu, Jan 26 Thumb
Expected to be out until at least Feb 2
Maxi Kleber Wed, Jan 18 Hamstring
Expected to be out until at least Feb 15

Coach Jason Kidd said on Thursday that Wood’s thumb injury will be looked at again in a week. He broke his left thumb against Atlanta a week ago, and it looks like he will be out for at least another week while he heals.

Kleber, on the other hand, hasn’t played since December 12 because of multiple injuries to his right leg, including a knee sprain and a torn hamstring. He was expected to miss a lot of work. No matter when he comes back, the 30-year-old will have a lot of rules to follow and will probably need a long time to get back into shape.

  • Luka Doncic – Questionable

Doncic’s status for Monday’s game against the Pistons is in doubt due to an ankle injury.

Doncic did not play in Saturday’s game against the Jazz because of what is being called a mild left ankle sprain, but it is anticipated that he will be eligible to return after missing just one game due to the injury.

In the event that he is unable to participate for a second time, the Mavericks should continue to run with Spencer Dinwiddie as their primary point guard, while Frank Ntilikina should expect to see an increase in the amount of minutes he receives.

The Pistons are having trouble winning games recently. After losing four games in a row, including to the Knicks, they shocked the Nets 130-122 on the road on Thursday. However, on Saturday, the Pistons were defeated by the Rockets.

Cory Joseph Sun, Jan 29 Back
Expected to be out until at least Feb 1
Cade Cunningham Sun, Jan 15 Lower Leg
Out for the season
Marvin Bagley III Wed, Jan 4 Hand

  • Cory Joseph – OUT

Due to a back injury, Joseph will not be participating in Monday’s game against the Mavericks.

Joseph will continue his absence from action due to back pain, bringing his total number of games missed in a row to seven out of the last eight. On Wednesday, he will have his next opportunity to play on the court, which is against Washington.
