- Will Ja Morant playing vs. T-Wolves?
In 35 minutes of Wednesday’s 122-120 loss to the Warriors, Morant scored 29 points (10-20 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 7-12 FT), added 12 assists, a block, and two steals.
On Wednesday, Morant was cleared to play against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. For the sixth game in a row, he scored at least 20 points and dished out at least seven assists, demonstrating once again why he is one of the league’s best players.
The Grizzlies’ leading scorer and facilitator is on pace to set or tie career highs with averages of 27.4 points, 7.9 assists, and 1.7 three-pointers made per game. He’ll need to keep up his All-Star level of play for the Grizzlies to win without Steven Adams (knee) for the next 3-5 weeks.

- Steven Adams – Out
Adams’ right knee PCL has been sprained, and he will be out of action for three to five weeks.
The Grizzlies say Adams got hurt in their game against the Suns on Sunday. In the coming weeks, he will most likely undergo another evaluation.
A sore right knee kept the veteran center out of Monday’s game against the Kings, and it will keep him out again on Wednesday. While Adams recovers from his injury, players like Xavier Tillman, Brandon Clarke, and Santi Aldama could see increased playing time in the middle.
MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES
The Timberwolves are coming into this contest on the heels of a 111-102 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. They performed exceptionally well in the offensive end of the court and will need to maintain that level of efficiency in this game if they hope to win convincingly at home.

- Rudy Gobert – Questionable
Gobert’s status for Friday’s game against the Grizzlies is in question due to a groin injury.
Gobert’s right groin injury is still bothering him, but he’s played in the last two games despite it and has racked up an impressive 32 points, 28 rebounds, five blocks, four assists, and a steal in those contests. He’s also had one steal. If he takes a seat on the bench, Naz Reid, Luka Garza, and Nathan Knight should see an increase in their playing time.
