Injury reports of Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson
UPDATE (Jan. 24):
Jim Eichenhofer of the Pelicans’ official site reports that Ingram’s status for Tuesday’s game against the Nuggets is in question due to a toe injury.
After being sidelined since November 25 with a bruised left big toe, Ingram has recently resumed full-contact practices and hopes to make his season debut during the Pelicans’ upcoming three-game home set.
Ingram is unlikely to play on Tuesday, so if he misses that game he’ll have to wait until Wednesday to face the Vikings. Nonetheless, Ingram is expected back for Saturday’s game against Washington, the final of the homestand, giving him a few more days to prepare for game action.
UPDATE (Jan. 20):
Jim Eichenhofer of the Pelicans’ official site reports that Brandon Ingram (toe) will not play in Friday’s game against the Magic.
Since November 25th, when Ingram first experienced pain in his left toe, he has not played a game. Even though the Pelicans are taking it game by game with their 25-year-old star, there’s no telling when he’ll be ready to play again.
Meanwhile, Zion Williamson is still sidelined with a hamstring injury and can’t play. His return is scheduled for the last week of the month.
UPDATE (Jan. 18):

The 25-year-old superstar’s health should be closely tracked in the days leading up to each game, but there has been no word yet on when he might resume practice. Until then, it looks like Ingram will have to sit this one out.
Meanwhile, there has been no update on when Zion Williamson will return.
UPDATE (Jan. 16):

UPDATE (Jan. 13):
Zion Williamson will likely be sidelined for a significant amount of time due to a hamstring injury. He had an MRI done on his hamstring, and the results don’t look good, so it’s likely that he will need surgery.
