Christopher Nolan’s Inception has been a huge hit over the weekend – the film starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard and Ellen Page took in a delightful $61 million on it’s opening weekend. Not only has it made a lot – it’s also leaving a lasting impression on the viewers. Inception has been voted up to #3 on the IMDb top 250 movies of all time – as voted by users. That means that people think Inception is the third best film EVER. Ever? yep. It’s managed to trump Pulp Fiction at #6 on the list, as well as Toy Story 3, which currently happens to be at #8.

In other box office news, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice which stars Nicolas Cage unsurprisingly didn’t quite measure up to Inception, taking in just $18 million, bombing harder then well, a gigantically massive bomb which explodes with little imagination. The animation featuring Steve Carell, Despicable Me took second place at the box office at $32.2 million
