Hugh Hefner Speaks on Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy Shoot

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner has spoken on working with Lindsay Lohan for her recent Playboy shoot which resulted in a full nude spread and cover shot for the February issue of the magazine.  Hugh says that he wasn’t full sure about working with Lindsay at first, because he didn’t know if it was the right time for her:

“It really came as a surprise to me. I kind of had mixed emotions about it initially, and then it turned into something bigger than life. I wasn’t quite sure where she was at in her life, obviously. It depends on whether it’s Tuesday or Thursday.”

Hugh also says that her mother and other family members were reluctant to let Lindsay do a full nude shoot, and kept pushed for her to be covered up more, and he had to make sure it looked as classy as possible:

“I think it was essentially mama and the folks around her that kept pushing for less nudity. And I said, ‘We’re doing a nude pictorial here. We’re going to do it in a very classy way and we’re going to do it in a way in which it will not be forgotten.’ I think it was accomplished beyond anything I could have possibly imagined. People will not forget this pictorial.”
