Lolo Jones, the gorgeous 29-year-old Olympic runner, has revealed that she is still a virgin because she is saving herself for her husband, and she isn’t even married yet. The athlete has spoken on the personal choice she made to keep her virginity:
“It’s something, a gift I want to give my husband.”
She reveals that she has joined some dating sites and even uses twitter to keep an eye out for potential suitors, but thus far it hasn’t gone well. She comments that hanging on to her virginity for so long has been the hardest thing she’s done, even harder than her rigorous training sessions:
“This journey has been hard, it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. Harder than training for the Olympics. Harder than studying for college has been staying a virgin before marriage.”
Lolo admits that some men have tried to encourage her to have sex by telling her it will help her career, and she admits that she has been tempted to go for it:
“I’ve been tempted. I’ve had guys tell me … ‘Hey, you know, if you have sex, it’ll help you run faster.’ ”
