As the release date of the Harry Potter video game Hogwarts Legacy draws near, interest in the game itself continues to increase. Apparently some people have gotten their hands on the Hogwarts Legacy art book and are now sharing some behind-the-scenes details about the game online.

A major point of contention comes from an illustration of the Hogwarts castle grounds map. Given that the image’s caption refers to it as the “early world map,” it’s safe to assume that this is just a rough draft rather than a carbon copy of the final product.

Images from the allegedly leaked Hogwarts Legacy art book look authentic. The moderators of the r/HarryPotterGame subreddit have also confirmed that the art book is currently in circulation.

“The mod team has reviewed the leak and the source and we can confirm that some individuals do have an early copy of the art book. The pictures of the art book do appear to be legitimate. We cannot verify claims based on the art book such as ‘I read the book and it said this’ but at least one user we have been in contact with has a copy.”

The image of the character menu in the Hogwarts Legacy art book stands out among the more generic images. There is a wide variety of wands, gloves, headgear, neckwear, robes/cloaks, outfits, flying mounts, and brooms to choose from. Even if that doesn’t come as much of a shock, it’s still exciting to think about the ways in which you’ll personalize your character and the Hogwarts Legacy spells you’ll use.
