Hilariously Gross Post Of The Day: A Tale Of Reality TV And STDs

Posted by Moxie on June 4th, 2010

The New York Post published an article featuring several quotes from people involved in reality TV, producers and talent alike. The article is barely more than a blurb, but it drops a few truth-bombs that are so gross you have to laugh. Dr. Drew Pinsky of Vh1’s Celebrity Rehab, curse his unprofessional fame-whoring heart, said that STDs are a concern and that contestants are required to have medical tests that have nothing to do with their addictions. Sallyann Salsano, the creator of The Jersey Shore, bless her Guido-loving heart, says the producers hand out meds “like M&Ms” because STDs are such a problem. Really, though, she says it best:

” ‘Hey kids, it’s time for Valtrex!’ It’s like a herpes nest. They’re all in there mixing it up.”

All in there! Mixing it up! Jesus God, can you imagine having sex with any of them, let alone after they’ve all hooked up with each other? Although everyone knows The Situation never gets laid at all, even by Jersey skanks. They should start calling him The Desperate Situation. Okay, fine, that name sucks, but it’s still better than that joke Vinny tried to pull on him. Seriously, best show, y/y?
