Hey, I guess some people still like art.

Nicole Richie, as orphaned princess bride.

Apparently,  Saturday was a big night for celebrities who have the wherewithal to still care about visual art (not fashion, folks, VISUAL ART).  The Los Angeles County Museum of Art gala hosted the unveiling of their new lavish $45-million Lynda and Stewart Resnick Exhibition Pavilion. Yowza.  The Resnik Exhibition was not named after ex-Bachelor Jason Mesnick (insert laughs here!) but for the major donors and owners of Fiji Water and Pom Wonderful.  So next time you’re fresh off a yoga sesh enjoying a tasty upscale bottle of water or some pom, know this: THEY OWN YOU.  And, LACMA.

Celebrities who purportedly like art are Kim Kardashian, mom Kris Jenner, Nicole Richie, Tom Hanks, James Franco, Garry Marshal, Katherine Bigelow and big executive types.  You know, people that make lots of money doing not a lot of stuff.
