This isn’t the first time Halo Infinite has faced difficulties. To say the least, the game has had a bumpy ride since its release in November 2021. Most recently, its development efforts were hampered by Microsoft’s layoffs, which included 343 employees. However, the renowned IP appears to have found renewed interest among fans, particularly since Halo Infinite’s Forge beta surpassed a million creations.

Even as the studio attempts to generate excitement for the new season, some fans have gone a step further. A cutscene for one of the two upcoming narrative events, “Site Unseen,” has been leaked on YouTube by the “Iso Leaks” channel.

The nearly three-minute clip focuses primarily on SPARTAN-IV supersoldier Hieu Dinh and Iratus, while also confirming the previously leaked Infected in Halo Infinite. Furthermore, the channel claims that the Site Unseen narrative event will take place between May 2 and 16, though 343 has yet to provide an official update.

Aside from the Site Unseen content, Halo Infinite’s Season 3 introduces a number of notable changes and additions to the IP. Three new maps, a new weapon, and the Shroud Screen have been added. Season 3 also added a Community Collection Playlist, where players can play maps and modes created by the community. Gamers can now access the first of two narrative events in the new season, “Mindfall,” which will run until March 21.

While it’s unclear how the Halo franchise will evolve after Echoes Within, many fans are hoping Season 3 will be a watershed moment for Halo Infinite. The lack of Halo Infinite content for an extended period of time has been one of the most significant setbacks for Xbox’s flagship IP. The recent round of layoffs at Microsoft hasn’t helped to alleviate this concern. Nonetheless, the influx of new content for the game’s latest season will be welcomed by many fans of the franchise.
