We’ll give you the most recent updates on these players and explain how their injuries may affect the Week 11 fantasy landscape.

Week 11 fantasy injury report: Zach Ertz, Cole Kmet, and Ja'Marr Chase

  • Zach Ertz

UPDATE: Ertz (knee) is scheduled for surgery and will miss the remainder of the 2022 season.

Zach Ertz‘s season was cut short due to a knee injury. In Week 10, Zach Ertz (knee) was carted off the field near the end of the first quarter of the Cardinals’ 27-17 victory over the Rams.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Ertz will be out for several weeks but will most likely avoid an ACL tear.

Losing the fantasy regular season’s second-most targeted TE (68 targets) in the most crucial weeks is a huge blow, as Ertz was one of the most consistent TEs this season.

We’ll see if Ertz can return during the fantasy playoffs, but his multi-week absence reduces the TE talent pool even more.

  • Cole Kmet

UPDATE: Kmet (thigh) was a full practice participant Friday and doesn’t have an injury designation for Sunday’s game in Atlanta.

Cole Kmet (thigh) was injured in yesterday’s 31-30 loss to the Lions.

If that’s the case, it’s a huge relief for the rising third-year tight end, who has five touchdowns in the last three weeks and was the overall TE1 from Weeks 8-10.

Kmet projects as a must-start in a favorable matchup against a Falcons defense that ranks near the bottom of the league in terms of FPPG allowed to tight ends (10.7).

  • Ja’Marr Chase

UPDATE: Chase (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game at Pittsburgh.

After missing the Bengals’ previous two games, Ja’Marr Chase (hip) was still walking on crutches on Monday.

Chase will be out for at least four weeks if the Bengals do not place him on injured reserve.

Chase is obviously not going to play in Week 11 because he is still walking on crutches. Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd will continue to be Cincinnati’s top two receivers and should be in fantasy lineups this week against a Steelers defense that has allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season.
