• James Conner

UPDATE 2: Conner is now ACTIVE.

UPDATE: Late Saturday night, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Conner is “likely” to play against Seattle, but no decision will be made until after pre-game warmups.

According to beat writer Tyler Drake, Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said Friday that Conner (ribs) is a game-time decision for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks.

The veteran running back was listed as “questionable” on the team’s final injury report, which is not surprising.

Conner was listed as “questionable” for last week’s game against the Vikings before being ruled out.

He has practiced in a limited capacity this week, but his rib injury has kept him out of the last three games. If Conner is active, he’s a solid RB2.

• Gus Edward

UPDATE: According to Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, Edwards (hamstring) will return against the Panthers in Week 11.

He did not play against the Saints on Monday Night Football and is now in the Ravens’ bye week, which bodes well for his recovery.

When Edwards returns, he should be the starting running back in Baltimore until J.K. Dobbins is healthy enough to play again.

• Jonathan Taylor

UPDATE: Taylor (ankle) has been declared OUT for the Colts’ Week 9 game against the Patriots, according to ESPN reporter Stephen Holder.

“We gotta do what’s right with the player,” Indy coach Frank Reich said, implying that the reigning rushing champion could be “week-to-week” after re-aggravating his ankle injury.

If Deon Jackson ends up on your waiver wire, this is the time to claim him.

The Patriots are not a great matchup by any means, but the Colts offense is built around the running game, and JT could be out for more than a week.

• Mark Andrews

UPDATE: According to ESPN’s Jamison Hensley, Andrews was among several Ravens players who did not practice on Thursday or Friday.

Andrews (shoulder, knee) was forced to leave last week’s game against the Buccaneers because of a shoulder injury. On Monday, head coach Jon Harbaugh stated that his shoulder injury is not “a major, major thing.”

With a Week 10 bye on the horizon for Baltimore, this could be the game Andrews misses so he can rest for two and a half weeks.

If Andrews does not practice or is listed as “questionable,” owners should plan on starting Isaiah Likely, who had a strong game against the Buccaneers last week.

• Chuba Hubbard

Hubbard (ankle) returned to practice in a limited capacity on Monday, then increased his participation to full on Tuesday.

This is encouraging news for the Panthers’ running back, who missed Weeks 8 and 9.

Despite the short turnaround before Thursday Night Football, Hubbard appears to be on track to play against Atlanta.

The Panthers’ preferred receiving back is the second-year back, providing a change of pace from early-down back D’Onta Foreman. Hubbard, if active, would be a low-end RB3 this week.
