Beyonce has composed a moving hand-written letter to Michelle Obama which she has shared on her personal website. In the letter the singer thanks Michelle for being a strong role model, especially because she is now a mother to baby Blue Ivy. Beyonce comments that the First Lady is “”humble, loving and sincere’ and writes:
”Michelle is the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman. She is a caring mother, she’s a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the First Lady!!!!” No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope — she’s humble, loving, and sincere. She builds and nurtures her family, while also looking out for so many millions in so many ways.”
At the end of the note Beyonce addresses Michelle personally, thanking her for working so hard and being a strong influence on her. She is happy that Michelle is around for her new daughter to have a good positive role model:
”Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that u do for us — I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you, to look up to.”
