Are Luka Doncic and Tyrese Haliburton JOINING tonight’s game? Injury Report Pacers – Mavericks

The Indiana Pacers (27-35) will be taking on the Dallas Mavericks (32-30) on the road. The game will start in the American Airlines Center at 8:30 PM EST.

Pacers vs. Mavericks injuries: 1 Questionable, 2 Out

The Pacers

Before this game, the Indiana Pacers defeated the Orlando Magic, 121-108. They looked particularly impressive on offense, where they’ll need to continue to excel if they’re to beat the Mavs away from home.

Tyrese Haliburton is second in the NBA with 10.2 assists per game. Since the All-Star break, he has had two straight double-doubles. In a loss to Boston in overtime last Wednesday, he had 22 points, 14 assists, and three steals. He then had 15 points and 14 assists in Indiana’s 121-108 win at Orlando on Saturday to start their road trip.

Injury reports:

  • Kendall Brown (Lower Leg) – Out

According to Tony East of SI.com, Brown recently had surgery to repair a stress fracture in his right tibia and will be out indefinitely.

In order to fix a lower leg injury that has plagued him throughout the 2022-23 season, Brown has decided to undergo surgery. The precise date of his return is currently unknown.

The Mavericks

In their previous game, the Dallas Mavericks lost to the Los Angeles Lakers. They struggled mightily in the third quarter and will need to turn up the heat on both ends of the court to win at home.

With the regular season winding down, Dallas will be looking to work through the growing pains that come with making significant roster changes, most notably the addition of Kyrie Irving.

  • Luka Doncic – Ready

In Sunday’s 111-108 loss to the Lakers, Luka Doncic played 36 minutes and tallied 26 points (10-22 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-4 FT), nine rebounds, five assists, and one steal.

The point guard scored a game-high 26 points and made four of eight three-pointers, his first such performance this month.

I’m hoping he can continue this fantastic form in the upcoming match.

Injury reports:

  • Davis Bertans (Calf) – Out
  • Maxi Kleber (Hamstring) – Questionable

Bertans will miss a 10th straight game due to a left calf strain. His next opportunity to play is Thursday, when the 76ers visit the arena, but it is unknown when he will be able to return to the lineup.

The Mavericks hope Kleber will be available for the first time since December 12; however, he will likely be evaluated in the hours before tipoff. In all likelihood, the 31-year-old will be limited in playing time if he is given the green light to return to action on Tuesday.
