6 Celebrities Who Have Weird Obsessions

These 6 celebrities have all developed weird obsessions with something a little unusual, and have spoken on their strange passion openly. For some, their obsession is a source of inspiration or perhaps what they love is just something for fun. From Justin Bieber to Beavis and Butthead, you’ll never guess which stars have developed rather peculiar loves for random things – but at least they don’t take themselves so seriously they can’t admit what they really do feel strongly about – even if it’s ice-cream memorabilia.

Evan Rachel Wood

Evan says she is completely obsessed with Justin Bieber has has seen his movie three times: “I ended up seeing ‘Never Say Never’ three times. One of those times was the director’s cut. I’m not even kidding. I got obsessed with the kid. It’s going to be weird if I ever meet him. He’s brought so much joy to my life.”

Vanessa Hudgens

After filming a role, Vanessa grew an attachment to babies and now wants to have her own: “It was very crazy and very very interesting and kinda made me obsessed with babies. I did get to know the girls and they were so amazing and really let me in to their head and, like, took me through their struggle… It was so humbling. They don’t care about the celebrity; this is real life. These girls are just trying to get by.”

Rupert Grint

Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint is obsessed with buying ice-cream related memorabilia for his ice-cream truck: “I got obsessed with buying accessories for it on eBay – light-up cones. I drive it every day. I get kids queueing up outside whenever I stop.”

Patrick Stewart

X Men star Patrick Stewart loves watching Beavis and Butthead: “It’s borderline addiction, in fact. I have ties, I have all the videos, I have a wonderful collection of T-shirts. When the history of 20th century American television is written, I think that Beavis and Butthead will be singled out as a very, very important cultural phenomenon.”

Kelly Rowland

Kelly Rowland admits that she loves visiting sex shops because she finds them so interesting, but she always goes in a big group so no one will recognize her: “You can’t keep me away from a good sex shop. Those are interesting places. I go with a bunch of people – that way no one recognises me.”

Florence Welch

Florence Welch is obsessed with the notion of drowing and has written songs about it: “I was obsessed with drowning. It’s about succumbing and being completely overwhelmed by something that’s bigger than everything. I think it comes from being in love for the first time. Like totally and utterly in love. Like first, 17 year old love. I remember falling in love with this boy and having the first glimpse he might like me too. I had to go on a family holiday for two weeks. I spent the entire time sat at the bottom of the swimming pool screaming at the top of my voice. I just wanted to be somewhere that completely encapsulated me, where I could just thrash and scream.”
