3 Stars, Including Paula Deen, Who Were Accused Of Sexual Harassment

Celebrity chef Paula Deen and her brother Earl W. “Bubba” Hiers are being sued for sexual harassment and violent behavior by a former employee at the restaurant they co-own called Uncle Bubba’s Seafood and Oyster House. The lawsuit was brought about by Lisa Jackson, who worked as a general manager at the restaurant in Savannah, Georgia for five years. She is accusing Hiers of creating a work environment full of fear. His conduct was allegedly “physically threatening and universally humiliating.” Hiers is “a frequent customer of pornography websites,” which he would often leave open on the shared kitchen computer for other employees to be subjected to. He also required all female managers at the establishment to wear long sleeves and banned capri pants and skirts to stop these “fat girls” from revealing too much skin. Jackson claims to have told Deen personally about Hiers behavior. Not only did Paula ignore these confrontations and not correct her brother’s actions, but she’s also accused of making racist jokes in front of employees. When asked for a comment about the allegations, Paula’s rep said they “do not comment on any pending legal issue.”

Looks like Paula Deen will be spending some time in court fighting sexual harassment charges, but she’s not the only star who has been accused of such actions. Here are a few other celebrities that have also been charged with sexual harassment.

Britney Spears

Britney Spears just recently reached an out-of-court settlement with her former bodyguard Fernando Flores, who filed a lawsuit against the singer in September 2010. He accused Spears of flashing him and inviting him into her bedroom when she was naked.

Jesse James

Jesse James settled a sexual harassment lawsuit in 2010 brought against him and West Coast Choppers. A former female executive of the company accused Jesse of making several sexual advances, including sexual acts, towards her throughout 2006 and 2007.
