Now there’s yet another product that will have the Kardashians’ name on it. Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian will be made into Barbie dolls. The dolls will be part of a new limited-edition line and sources say they’ll “reflect the girls’ measurements.” They may even be dressed in outfits designed by the sisters. Mattel, the maker of Barbie dolls, has declined to comment on whether or not the dolls will actually be made. Still, Kim seems very excited at the chance of being immortalized as a doll. On Christmas she tweeted, “”Merry Christmas Barbs @BarbieStyle! Long time no see! What did Ken get you for Christmas? Miss you doll!” She also tweeted “I’m sure we will be seeing lots of each other!,” to which Barbie replied “See you in 2012?” The mysterious tweets have only added to the excitement surrounding Kardashian dolls.
The Kardashians aren’t the first celebrities to have Barbie dolls made for them. Here are a few other stars that have been made into every little girls’ favorite toy.
A single Nicki Minaj Barbie doll was created by Mattel to be auctioned off for charity. The doll was very detailed – it had pink hair and even included the tattoo Nicki has on her left arm.
Mattel made a Katy Perry Barbie doll to auction off for charity as well. All the proceeds went to the Project Angel Food organization. Katy’s doll had long blue hair and a “scrumptious cupcake dress.”
