Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara has opened up on her usual makeup routine, revealing that it hasn’t changed much over the years because she has figured out what suits her complexion and rarely goes against that. She adds that she is slowly making a few changes to make her makeup softer as the years roll by, and she’s switched out harsh black eyeliner for brown as of late:
“I’ve worn the same shades my whole life because I know what looks good on me and at my age. I used to do more black eyeliner, but now that I’m older I wear browns because black can be too much. And I own a million products.”
Commenting on taking care of her hair, Sofia says she doesn’t like to use many products because it doesn’t suit her hair type, so she keeps it simple with a great shampoo and conditioner, as well as a hair spray to finish off her style:
“My hair is actually straight, so I use a curling iron to create them because my hair doesn’t do well with a lot of product. I can’t put oils, pomades, or anything else in it because it gets weighed down. I just use shampoo, conditioner, and hairspray. My family has used Head & Shoulders forever.”
Sofia recently launched her own self-titled scent and comments that the new fragrance is exactly what she likes, which is a balance between floral, musk and fruit scents. She said that her perfume is a melody of each and has a sexy base to top it off:
“I don’t like anything too flowery, too musky, or too fruity, so I made a mix of all three. The fragrance has notes of purple violet and Colombian rose, fruity notes like plum and blackberry, and a base note of sandalwood so it’s sexy.”
