Jamie Oliver looks different in a replica suit for his vow renewal 23 years later – but with one huge change

He revealed over the weekend that he married his wife Jools for the second time during a romantic vow renewal with their children in the Maldives.

And Jamie Oliver looked nothing like the boyish star who married 23 years ago as he posed for new photos on a beach in the luxury resort.

The 47-year-old TV chef revealed that he wore the same pale blue Paul Smith suit he wore on his first wedding day in 2000.

Jamie, who married Jools when he was 24 years old, now appeared wordly as he posed confidently alongside his wife and their five children.

Jamie had changed his footwear, foregoing a pair of questionable snakeskin Patrick Cox loafers to go barefoot for the ceremony.

Jamie paired his pastel two-piece suit with a baby pink shirt, and he wore his dark blond hair swept back and clean-shaven.

Jamie commented on his outfit choice in a photo with his two sons, writing: ‘Buddy was best man and I had a suit made by Paul Smith just as I did 23 years ago.

‘But this time barefoot instead of those sassy Patrick Cox loafers!!’

Jamie and Jools have been together since they were 18, and they have five children: Poppy Honey, 20, Daisy Boo, 19, Petal Blossom, 13, Buddy Bear, 11, and River Rocket, five.

After saying ‘I do’ for the second time at the Soneva Fushi Resort, the celebrity chef posted an intimate carousel of family photos to Instagram.

Jools, 48, looked stunning in an off-the-shoulder wedding gown with ruffles and a thigh-high slit.

Unlike her husband Jamie, her bridal look was a departure from her original gown, a sleek ivory silk slip number.

Her brunette hair was styled straight, with a white bow holding it in place, and she wore pearl drop earrings.

She went with a bronzed makeup palette that accentuated her natural features and a swipe of naked lipstick.

Jamie wrote alongside the photos: ‘Morning all, Me & @joolsoliver got married again! Yep After 23 years together, we thought it would be a special moment to celebrate renewing our wedding vows before the kids all start leaving the nest.

‘It was really special, funny and romantic with the words in the ceremony making more sense having come this far together.

‘It seems like a blink since the first wedding which we kept very privet apart from the paparazzi at the village church we thought it would be a happy and joyful moment to share with you all this Easter.

‘We’ve always dreamed of going to the Maldives and it was just as you would have dreamed, simply amazing ! a massive thank you to all the team at @discoversoneva for blowing our minds and making this moment so special and memorable big love guys Jamie x’

Jamie later posted more photos from the ceremony to his Instagram Stories, including a selfie with his wife and daughters, which he captioned “My queens.”

He also shared a photo of himself with his two sons, Buddy and River, in which he revealed that his eldest son served as Best Man.

Jools also posted her own collection of photos on social media, writing: ‘So wonderful the first time we did it again. What an incredible memory to treasure so happy, emotional, romantic and beautiful. Seeing the children’s little faces made the whole experience so special. I could only have dreamed of being on a holiday this magical thank you so much Discover Soneva.

‘Your care, attention to detail and unbelievable kindness made everything so special almost feels like it was a dream xxx.’

Looking back on their first trip down the aisle, she recalled: ‘Our first dance was to Dusty Springfield’s I Only Want To Be With You, but Jamie doesn’t like dancing, so I threw him off. I was in my element!’
