5 Stars Speak on How Fatherhood Has Changed Them

Mark Wahlberg

Mark believes his life is more mature now: “As a father I’m about an eight or nine out of ten. I’ve change some diapers and done some baths, I tuck them in and read to them but Rhea is doing more diaper duty and bathing that’s for sure. My friends might think that it’s boring but there’s nothing better than being woken up at five thirty than my daughter jumping on the bed with her wild bed head. That smile is enough to keep me in the house. Every once in a while I wonder what the guys are up to but I’ve been there and done that. Life is about maturing and changing.”

Michael has learned to be a calmer person: “I think being a parent changes that. You can’t go flying off the handle all the time. You have to learn to be patient and tolerant. You can’t just walk away and you can’t just shout. It’s about people accepting your flaws as much as you accepting theirs… I don’t hit anyone any more. I haven’t hit anyone for a long time.”
