5 Celebrities Who’ve Dealt Drugs

Back in the days before they became big stars, these 5 celebrities were just trying to get by and were desperate to make some extra cash – so they resorted to dealing drugs! Never being caught for their crimes, they all managed to get away with being dealers in the past and have opened up on their experiences. Selling everything from dope to cocaine, these celebrities had very different lives back then and were trying to make some money to survive. Some didn’t last long as dealers and realized quite early that it wasn’t a good idea, while others managed to sell for quite some time before giving up because they didn’t need to or were worried about getting caught by the police. Here are their drug dealing stories!

Jon Bon Jovi

The famous rocker resorted to selling dope: “I was entrepreneurial even then, buying quarter pounds of dope and trying to make a couple (of) bucks.Did you ever smoke dope that was laced with PCP and then have that whole summer of hallucinations? It was f**king awful. That’s why I’ve never been a drug guy. I’ve always felt I didn’t have the mental stability to handle drugs.”

Diddy

Diddy wanted to make money but soon realized it was a bad idea: “Some of my friends were selling drugs in the Maryland and (Washington) D.C. area. I remember them having all this jewellery and new BMWs. I was eating ramen noodles, stealing from the 7-Eleven to get some food. I thought, ‘I need to get some money like y’all have.’ So I go out on the block, the strip where they’re selling drugs, and my man says, ‘OK, I’m going to give you this. You wait there. They’ll come up to you.’ I’m out there five minutes when three cop cars pull up and officers jump out and start chasing me. I ran and got away. We reconvene in the same place two hours later. This time it’s dark, and all of a sudden a van pulls up. Cops jump out and start chasing me again. There’s a helicopter overhead with a light following me through the woods.” Diddy says he realized dealing was for him: “I told my friends, ‘Thanks, y’all, but no thanks. This game is not for me.’ I walked out that door, and I ain’t been around nobody with no drugs. I don’t want to see no drugs.”

Frank Ocean

Back in his younger years, Frank admits that he used to sell various drugs to make some money and he even calls himself a thug: “I was a thug. I sold a lot of cocaine and crack… All the time.”

Jay Z

Jay Z started out by selling on the streets: ”I know about budgets. I was a drug dealer. To be in a drug deal, you need to know what you can spend, what you need to re-up. Not until later [did I have regrets], when I realised the effects on the community. I started looking at the community on the whole, but in the beginning, no. I was thinking about surviving. I was thinking about improving my situation. I was thinking about buying clothes.”

Pete Doherty

Before Pete became famous for his music, he resorted to drug dealing to make some extra cash: “I was working in a bar, selling drugs, working on a building site, writing poetry in the graveyard shift at The King’s Head – and I was w**king off old queens for like GBP20.”
